Dr. Blaze Chatham is a highly skilled performance physical therapist with an impressive background in physical therapy and a profound dedication to his patients and athletes. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Springfield College in 2013 and completed the Military Musculoskeletal Orthopedic Residency in 2016. Additionally, he has completed a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy from Regis University, an intensive program covering all aspects of orthopedic rehabilitation.
Dr. Chatham holds dual board certifications from the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties in both orthopedic physical therapy and sports physical therapy and has been a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist since 2011.
With 11 years of experience as a performance PT, Dr. Chatham has worked in various unique settings, including three years with the Navy SEAL Teams, over two years with Marine Corps Special Operations Command, and various aviation squadrons across the Navy and Marine Corps. He also was a performance therapist at private practice in the Boston area, focusing on sports medicine.
A former college wrestler, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu purple belt, CrossFitter, and strength coach, Dr. Chatham has a passion for movement and physical activity. He is an expert in resolving pain and movement issues, utilizing specialized techniques such as dry needling, spinal manipulation, instrument-assisted manual therapy, cupping, running mechanics coaching, and functional rehabilitation.
